2. Mortgage interest rates are projected to increase 
Freddie Mac’s primary mortgage market survey shows that interest rates for 30-year mortgages have already increased from half of the percentage to about 4.5% in 2018. Most experts estimate that rates will increase in the next 12 months. The Mortgage Banker Association, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the National Association of Realtors are united, estimating that rates will increase by 5.1% at the rate of half percent by next year.
